The forecast called for a dub, and the HurriKanes delivered 🌪️

After finishing the regular season with back-to-back losses that saw them spiral from 1st to 3rd, the winds didn’t seem to be blowing in their favor. But come playoff time, this crew changed direction in a big way.

A 5-4 barnstormer over defending champs Cleats and Cleavage in the semis set the stage, and a composed 2-1 win over 4-seeded Harvey Ballers in the final brought the calm after the storm, and their first trophy since 2023.

Shoutout to long-time captain @laureneliz25, who kept the squad centered through the eye of it all, and the ‘Kanes found true north when it counted. Congrats to your Coed D1 champs—these winds are only picking up. 🧭
