Monday Coed's top division hosts some of the most talented teams across SOPFC, and HJ's Scumbags is certainly one of those teams. In what was their 4th season ever, they posted a nearly perfect 8-0-1 record, which brings their total record to a mind blowing 30-3-2 🤯. New Kicks on the Block put up a strong effort, scoring more goals than any other Scumbag opponent has in those 4 seasons, but the Scumbags came out on top 6-4 and are able to take home their 2nd D1 title! They're a fantastic team, and in spite of the name, a pretty nice group of folks too. Congrats Scumbags, and good luck in season #5!

Calling it a hero's journey might not be the most apt description, but East Atlanta Villains certainly answered the Call to Adventure by claiming the D2 title with a 2-1 victory! Their championship final opponent Estoria put up a good fight, but the Villains' win means they're on the Road Back to Division 1 after being relegated a few seasons ago. It's their second trophy in the team's history, and their first since 2019. This is a group you can catch on most Fridays at pickup, so if you see them, make sure to congratulate them on their Transformation into a top flight team!

They say you never forget your first, so we hope members of Vodka United don't have too much brain fog after celebrating their first SOPFC trophy ever! Beating the D3 playoff's top seed in previously undefeated Hotlanta United was no small task, but it's hard to lose when you don't concede any goals, and Vodka United did just enough to win the title match 1-0.
